x. Endless Sweets and Bottomless Hot Pot ~ Ocarina

Greetings Ocarina, I hope everyone's weekend went well. It's already the end of September, but the weather had been really kind here. Don't need to pull out sweaters quite yet, it's still warm enough to wear some summer outfits!! Tonight's blog post is random stuff that I did, but try not to read this when you're hungry, unless you don't have a big sweet tooth.

During summer, Kiriya brought me to this Italian bakery and he was hyping this place so much. It was a small shop, and at the front entrance, you can see all the sweets. They do sell some sandwiches and paninis, but they mainly focus on sweets. I already had my eyes on the macarons though.

Kiri grabbed some cakes and he let me tried them. They were so good!!! I sort of regret not buying as much as I can, but then I wouldn't have enough space in my fridge... (´；ω；`)

I tried their specialty donuts and a box of macarons. The pistachio donut was really bomb and I liked the macarons as well. They weren't too sweet, which is perfect for meeee.

Sas and I went back to one of my favourite afternoon tea places because I received an email about their new afternoon tea menu.... and I was very interested in their new scones. Normally, they serve cheese/regular scones, but this time they made lemon scone and apple scone. They also had new sweets too, so we might as well go!

I really like the lemon tarts and all of their savory sandwiches. The scones were alright, the lemon one ended up too sweet for me because they had a lot of hardened sugar at the top. The apple scone was alright, but the sweetness was a bit too strong.

Aside from sweets, one of my friends hosted a summer hot pot. There was a lot of food, specifically meat, because my friends were prepared that I'll eat all the meat ... which I did anyway because everyone else was TOO FULL to eat the rest. More free meat for me HUEHUEHUE

But this wasn't an ordinary hot pot party, there were some cuties hanging out with us o((*^▽^*))o This cutie is Snowy and she is a Samoyed. Don't let her cuteness deceive you, she is surprisingly STRONG and overly friendly. Her owner had a tough time chasing after her though whenever Snowy found the opportunity to book it ripperoni

This little one is Paddy and I believe he is a Sheltie and he's becoming a show dog.

After hot pot, we got bubble tea as our dessert （*＾ワ＾*）

Now I'll end the post with sleepy puppers. They played all day and now out of energy. I didn't bring Beemo because Paddy and Snowy were high energy dogs, and Beemo hates that LOL ah welllll!
