x. Autumn Orange

Greetings Ocarina!! Tonight's blog post will include some spoilers on a side quest, specifically Omega and Alpha. If you don't want any spoilers, then stop reading and skip this post!! You've been warned ＼＼\\٩(๑`^´๑)۶//／／

Fall is coming and so I wanted to revamp the FC lawn with some autumn trees and Halloween themed furniture. I really wished we got more Halloween furniture, specifically outdoors or even a spooky themed housing exterior sob sob

I recently went back to doing side quests and I'm working on Stormblood ones. I started with Ruby Sea because that map is basically covered in side quests and I hate looking at it every time I go there for HoH. At the same time, I also hated myself because these side quests were AWFUL. There's way too much traveling here and it's super obnoxious... I'm so glad I finished it all... ರ_ರ UGH.

Speaking of side quests, I finished the new Alpha and Omega side quests and it was so good (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o))) !! I really enjoyed this side quest and you get to find them on EW maps too. I love the dynamic between these two and Omega is so tsundere for Alpha.

How can you look at Alpha and say it's NOT cute ヾ(＠⌒ー⌒＠)ノ!? I legit walked all around RAH instead of using teleports. I wanted to savor the moment of these two following meeeee.

They also have some really funny cute moments. I love details like this in side quests (more so in ones that I really care about). Omega complaining about stairs, which is totally relatable, while Alpha doesn't care about them.

At one point in the side quest, you have to prove your "fluffiness". Omega says different things depending on your race:

Now Omega chucks a very interesting question at you during this side quest. I wished I could pick Venat and Emet-Selch only. I partially agree with Hermes' philosophies, but I don't agree with his actions. I went to go check Reddit and see the debate about this, it was interesting to see different perspectives on this topic.

I'm normally not into side quests in FFXIV, quite often, I'm just blitzing through them for completion. I'll only pay attention if I like the specific map, but this one of my favourite side quests in the game!! I'm still not over Il Mheg side quests at all... so many cheap shot writing there....
