Happy Saturday Ocarina! Be sure to stay hydrated, this weekend is pretty hot, and make sure to use SPF when you go outside (b ᵔ▽ᵔ)b !!

So I think it's safe to say that I don't think SGE is my kind of healer class. The design is neat and all, but my brain just can't grasp SGE at all, and I just watch the world burn when things are going really bad aka I can't keep up with the heals.

I was very content in being the Namazu SGE because it made all the serious cutscenes more hilarious (I'm SORRY)! Actually I skipped most of the cutscenes until the SGE bunboy was going like "ugUu we weRe GeTTiNg AbUsED" and I'm like: Hold on, do tell ᕕ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )ᕗ

The only downfall of this job quest is that ... THE FINAL PART  TOOK OFF MY NAMAZU ONESIE. THIS IS ILLEGAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, every time I level my SGE and I party with some of my gal pals, we always get Doma Castle. What is this?? Doma Castle roulette, now??

Recently, Kiriya, Chips, and I went back to our Stardew adventuring. We had an amazing crab rave party because why not? Look at them go!!

We recently got a Dino baby and it's living peacefully with the other farm animals! There was one session where I had to leave early, and poor Kiriya and Chips were having a hard time with the farm animals... because I was the main animal care taker LOL so when I joined back for our other session, some of my poor babies were slightly unhappy. BUT IT WAS OKAY (°◡°♡) Because after several pets, daily check ins, and endless hay, they were all back to full happiness!! No animals were abused, don't worry!

Some of the cutscenes with other villagers get really weird, it's almost like we had an acid trip or something. Like I don't really know what is going on in this cutscene LOL although, some of them do complain they are so bored and wondered if they should go into the city lifestyle.

Anyway, that's all for now, so until next blog post,

x. In the Balance

Hallo Ocarina fam!! Since Patch 6.1 has been out for awhile, I think it's safe for me to post this. If you haven't finished 6.0 MSQ and you don't want spoilers for the new 24-man, then don't read this!! You've been warneddddddddd!!!!

For once, I'm actually looking forward to the next alliance raid. I think the story seems interesting enough and the god/goddesses designs were really cool. What do you guys think!? Also, can we take a moment and appreciate the scenery in this area??? This actually became my new crafting spot.

ᕕ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )ᕗ Do you guys think we'll be climbing this tower like Tower of GOD style (I hope somebody catches this reference)????

I thought Byregot's fight was kind of fun, but once you find that one person that could dodge all mechanics, you just follow that "marked" person (which I've been seeing every time I go into Aglaia LOL).

Somehow I didn't take a screenshot of Rhalgr LOL??? I did think his design was whatever BUT I really enjoyed his fight the most!! I just love how we fight on his statue hand...and it wasn't a circular or square arena.

Azeyma definitely gives off some Suzaku vibes, I think she's attractive, but she doesn't quite stand out to me compared to the next coming boss. She is my least favourite because there's just way too much long distance cardio in this fight and I rather die than do the mechanics.

So apparently Nald'Thal is my God, but he didn't even acknowledge me as his fellow worshipper... then again, I forgot that he's my God. I thought his design was pretty cool and the fight was pretty sweet, but I am not a fan of those comets falling because sometimes it's really easy for me to look at the wrong one...

Luckily in my first run, I got the healer top (─‿‿─) I do like some tops from this alliance raid, but I wasn't too gung-ho about farming them. I do like the RPR top the most, but it's truly sad that the dye option absolutely sucks for that piece (same with MNK).

Since I ran Aglaia blindly with my Evening Gang raid group, I had to document our experience!!

PS: Very important message. For those that didn't know about Aymeric in Empyreum, you can find him in his blue elephant suit!! I WISH HE ISN'T IN THIS SUIT AND Y'KNOW....SECRETLY TAKING A BREAK IN THE SAUNA OR SOMETHING!!!

Until next blog post,

x. A Rambling Travel

Hallo Ocarina, I hope everyone is having a good weekend!! Recently, I've been inspired by Hiro -- the popoto that does all the side quests in order to clean up his maps -- to go through each expansion and finish all the side quests (well attempting to). I started off with Shadowbringer because I got some lvl 70 classes that could use some EXP!

At the moment, I already blitzed through several maps, so I only got Eulmore, Il Mheg, and Tempest left. I was hoping to learn more lore on other maps but I feel like I didn't, so I was a little sad about it.

I'm hoping to learn more about the Amaros though and I'm purposely leaving their side quests last. I know they briefly talked about talking Amaros are slowly going extinct and now most Amaros just quack like a chocobo.

I got another beast tribe down (´。• ω •。`) I still need to finish up Mogs, but I'm purposely savoring that one because I love Churning Mist. I gotta give myself a reason to go back to that map. I think the Qitari are entertaining; although, the beast quests were somewhat annoying since they make you go to every corner of the map... not really a fan of that.

Speaking of beasties, I started the Arkasodaras in Thavnair, also known as the Hippo riders. They got another Bollywood music going on, already seeing some people dancing to it while AFKing. If you want to play catch up in leveling your classes, you SHOULD unlock them. They give a decent amount of EXP!!

I love how they're taking care of their hippos by giving them scrubbies.

o(≧▽≦)o How is this NOT cute!?!?!? LOOK AT THE BABYYYYYY.

I'm also went back to leveling my DRG (but I'm also leveling my RPR since they share the same gears). I skimmed through the DRG job quests until Stormblood expansion, mainly because of this little dragon. Him arriving at Shirogane was entertaining and he's so adorable.

I was somewhat confused and surprised when I saw Estinien casually showing up, but I vaguely remember he was in the ARR DRG story... so ((Oops!))

I did find the DRG job quest in Stormblood kind of sad, but luckily it did have a happy ending!! Hey, I finally found something that was worth mentioning from Stormblood (sorry SB fans).

Maybe one day, I'll surpass Aikia and become the DRG Overlord!! Watch out Aikia, that's what you get for not finishing EW MSQ yet. That's a wrap for now, so until next blog post,

x. A Novel, New Sound

[ Art done by Tokyo Genso ]

Hallo Ocarina, how is everyone doing?? I still don't have air conditioner in my apartment yet, so I'll have to see how I'll survive this summer. Last year, I couldn't even play FFXIV because it made my office go up to 40C, then my PC overheats and shuts down. I even had a fan blowing at my PC and that didn't even help!!

Recently, I've been trying to find more cafes around my area and Google Map kind of sucks when it comes to giving suggestions. Every time I type in "brunch places" or "cafes", they give me super popular ones, which I already tried and some were extremely overrated. What I ended up doing is I started zooming into different streets and move further away from popular areas.... and low a behold, I found some "hidden gems".

I quote "hidden gems" because these places still get decent reviews and visits, but they're definitely hidden on Google Maps. One of the cafes I found was within a garden shop and it is absolutely adorable.  (´。• ᵕ •。`) ♡ They also seem to support local and/or small businesses that sells cooking stuff (oil, tools, etc.), accessories, interior decorations, and so forth!

Here's the seating area for the cafe, like really, isn't it cute??

The portion size was just right, but I will have to say, the prices was a TAD steep for these dishes (。•́︿•̀。)

Few weeks ago, I went to grab dinner with an old friend. She recently got promoted in her job, so of course, we had to celebrate o(≧▽≦)o !! We went to a fancy hot pot place and it was pretty good. I did find their selection to be lacking, but the services was absolutely phenomenal.

Sorry vegans and vegetarians, I just can't give up on fatty beef when it comes to hot pot time ...

We also got ice cream for deserttttttt and it was unlimited ice cream!! I was so sad I couldn't abuse this unlimited ice cream offer because I was incredibly full (ಥ﹏ಥ)

Once again, another cafe that is somewhat hidden on Google Maps. This cafe is owned by a Korean family I believe and I was interested in their brunch menu. I really like how they don't have restricted times for their breakfast/brunch choices because I don't wake up early enough for actual brunch time.

I'm usually not a milkshake person, but when it comes to blueberry milkshakes, I actually can't say no to that. Are any of you milkshake people? I think the best milkshake I had was in Las Vegas, where it was like almost like ice cream and you could still feel some icy chunks as you're sipping the shake.

While doing some grocery shopping, I came across some Hello Kitty pasta. Did I need it? No. But that's not going to stop me from trying it and make cute pasta dinner (「・ω・)「

Like............seriously LOL how cute is this??? Did it taste good? I'm not sure but it did remind me a lot of alphabet soup!!

Few weeks ago, I had a sudden night-time baking moment and I decided to bake a bunch of oatmeal cookies. I may have made too many but that's OKAY because I get to eat one for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!!! Does anyone else here get the random night-time baking mood? I can't be the only one!

Annnnd that's it for now gang, so until next blog post,
