Amazing art by YYish (You can click to enlarge it)

Hallo everyone, I hope everyone's weekend went well!! Tonight, I'm doing a short blog post about random things in my life, possibly 99% food pics. Most of these photos happened some time in November 2020 or before omicron became a huge thing in December (and some restrictions came back again, at least in my area).

I'm going to start off with this amazing photo of Taiwanese beef noodles and I got it with tripe. It was very delicious especially during the winter season \\\(۶ ᐛ )۶//// you can still see how hot and steamy my noodles are!!

One evening, I went to grab dinner and drinks with my old friend. When I mean drinks, I don't mean alcohol, I mean bubble tea LMAO also I would've shut down the idea of alcohol because I was driving. We checked out a new bubble tea shop ... well to be honest, the area we were hanging out is literally Little Asia. Instead of being obsessed with Starbucks Coffee, they need their bubble tea, and I'm not exaggerating.

This new bubble tea shop had a very nice design and I'm definitely coming back here again. First thing I noticed were those wall shelves ♡(˚ᗜ˚*)

Does it NOT look nice (*꧆▽꧆*) !? Lmao at the "no poker, no gambling" sign though.

They even have a second floor in their store, which is somewhat rare in the area we're in. So yes, I was very amused.

Of course, I have to take a photo of this for coffee enthusiasts (。・ω・。)♪ However, that night I did not get coffee because there was a drink that I wanted to try from their menu!

I really wanted to check out the second floor so I told my friend I'm going to grab a seat first before ordering. She was already in line and about to order her drink, so I'm technically not hogging a table without any orders!!

I actually enjoyed the drinks... but I'm the type of person who likes to order their drinks half sweet and prefers less or no ice for cold drinks. Hey, I learned a valuable lesson from Starbucks. If you do not explicitly say light ice and you order an iced drink, guess what? You get 99% ice and 1% of your actual drink!!! (๑•̀д•́๑) IT'S A SCAM!!!

I ordered a royal milk tea with grass jelly and pearls. I also get to use my reuseable bubble tea straw (which I sadly did not include in this photo)!

It comes in this really cute container, and inside it, is your straw. It's made out of silicone and you basically put your straw together (cause it starts out flat). Once you're done with your drink, you just open up your straw and clean it!! Simple!! If anyone is interested in them, you can visit here and order yourself one.

Yes... I do recognize these are incredibly expensive for silicone straws but they are more convenient than the metal bubble tea straws (I also have them, but I only use it at home if I order a take out bubble tea)!! Trust me bubble tea enthusiasts, you'll appreciate these if you go out and buy bubble teas frequently. Save the turtles and other beautiful sea creatures, use less plastic straws ♪♪♪ ヽ(・ˇ∀ˇ・ゞ)

I'm also doing some baking here and there. I tried making bread for the first time, it was not very successful... BUT! BUT! BUT! My bread did turned out tasty!! The texture was just wrong. I did show this to Ubi and then it resulted into a long bread lecture and him complaining why I even have a KitchenAid mixer if I'm not using it, especially for making bread LOL

Alright, that's all I have for now. Until next blog post and take care,
