x. [ SPOILER ] Stormblood Ending

Hello Ocarina, hope your weekend went well! I finally finished MSQ and I'm ready for Shadowbringer o: all I have left is Hildy and the school drama in Foundation (yeah I'm long overdue RIP). But before I begin talking about MSQ, I'm going to add spoiler warning!!! So stop reading if you DO NOT WANT spoilers!

Alright, into Stormblood's final MSQ! So the scions are sleeping on their job and you're trying to figure out what the hell is going on, along with the war. I get to catch up with Cid as usual, because who doesn't like Cid? He's kinda cool.

Raubahn got a bit morphed from the duty entrace lol but hey, once again! You gotta talk to this big guy for some spicy war stuff.

Then your acid trip comes back and y'know, Raubahn is just looking at you weirdly.

So right around here, I thought this is going to be a cutscene hell and I was getting ready to get comfy.

THEN I HAVE TO RP AS HIENNNNN!?!?!!?!??!?!!? I was so offended.

I was actually trying to root for Zenos to stab the shit out of Hien.

and here you are, running to the fighting scene instead of riding a mount. I mean, main characters have to make an epic entrance right?

Look at this pleb.

Here's me making a dramatic entrance because I am awesome. I know it.

He looks like a pleb, now go sleep Hien.

Now why would you think I want to talk to you, Zenos? He doesn't seem too happy that I got no words for him, so needy.

You manage to beat him, but wait! You've been fooled, ohs noes, what can we ever doooo!?!!?

When shit is about to get real, our mind or soul goes somewhere for a bit. But hold on a second, can we appreciate how pretty this is? Like wow!

Can I seriously just chill out here? Or maybe not with that monk, he wasn't really giving me helpful hints or advice on life.

Let me tell you this. This is the best part of the MSQ. Baeymeric shows up after you passed out from the battlefield.

Ohs he and Estinien rescued me ....

* GASP * Did he princess carry me? I'll pretend he did.

O-Ohs Aymeric... b-baka! I didn't need your help! LMAOOO

Haurchie's papa was gonna visit me, how nice of him actually. I liked this little moment too, I thought it was a bit nostalgic when I was reading the dialogue, I would say this was a nice touch.

I was a little surprised Tataru was back to her scrubby outfit instead of wearing her Shirogane outfit. Although, I'm assuming she's getting ready for Shadowbringer, so maybe they got an outfit later for her!

Ohs I wonder who this could be? This """"mysterious"""" sword wielder, like is it Urianger or is it Zenos? LOL just kidding, it's Zenos.

And gotta make a fancy pancy ending scene.

Like probably most of you guys, I'm a little dumbfounded that this is the end of Stormblood. I'm not sure why the last part of MSQ felt short and it did not add hype for Shadowbringer. The story writing in Heavensward was 10x better than this trash. First of all, Lyse had basically 0 character development. I thought they were going to go somewhere with her character in 4.0, but she just turned out very vanilla. Hien is just as vanilla as Lyse, I much preferred Aymeric's growth in Heavensward.

I can understand why some people might not like Aymeric cause how he got Ishgard was kind of "easy" or less "bloodshed" happening. My biggest problem in SB is nobody...really died and they got revived for really bad reasons? Like how in the hell did Gosetsu live, he should have been dead for real. Yotsuyuu could have lived, sure, that's fine by me. Although, I think Yotsuyuu's redemption story was interesting only because of Asahi to be honest. Also, the whole part of Yotsuyuu escaping from Hien's castle was bullshit and that bugged me a lot.

Fordola didn't get much screen time and I felt like her character was far more interesting (when it came to redemption). I was totally okay with the all female gang in 4.0 (I guess it was for me since my character is a girl) and I loved Alisae. But then the story line became a bit stale after 4.0, then a lot of characters felt super weak and not quite memorable. If you ask me which part of Stormblood was memorable, I have to take awhile to think; however, if you ask me which part of Heavensward was memorable, I can list you a lot of scenes.
