x. Vier-y Interested in Shadowbringer!

Hey Ocarina gang! Just wanted to do a quick blog post on some Shadowbringer stuff that I recently saw. I really want to see the new world maps, they look really pretty. I'm more excited about the scenery than the jobs at the moment! I can't wait till we get to explore and listen to the new OST ahhh!!! I'm going to grab my PC copy this week, I want that early access ~

Let's start off with the new race emotes if you're curious!



I actually thought the Hrothgar emotes were done well. I honestly wish they did more with the ears on both the races. I'm not sure why, but the Vierras do come off a bit emotionless? Maybe it's just me? But then again, the Vierras had the weird droopy ears, so maybe they can't do anything creative. I GUESS I'LL JUST COMPLAIN MORE ABOUT VIERRAS LOL.

I just finished watching a few job videos. So far, I'm interested in BRD and I'm actually interested in DNC. I was surprised because the teasers didn't do justice AT ALL ;o; I'm glad that BRD didn't get butchered this expansion, I was SO scared that it was going to be trash like HW BRD. I haven't seen the tank stuff yet, so I'll watch some more this weekend.



Unfortunately, I might pass on healer classes, except WHM. I'm a little heartbroken about AST. I enjoyed AST because of the cards and how there were skills that were so different from SCH and WHM. There were skills that buffed up cards and it just kept you busy throughout the instances/raids, and for me, I like that. 
With the new changes, they dumbed down quite a lot for AST? I didn't quite mind the card changes, I was a little bummed about it, but I was looking forward to relearning the cards. But they introduced quite a lot of healing skills, so I don't know, I felt like AST lost it's special trait. 
It sounds like SCH got nerfed? Correct me if I'm wrong, but they lost some DPS skills and just got more fairy things. I can see why people are feeling salty for SCH. This expansion, the healers got some really lame changes minus WHM. However, I'm still keeping my hopes up and willing to give AST a shot in Shadowbringer.
