x. Raining Games

Heeeello Ocarina ~ (^._.^)ﾉ☆ !! What has everyone been up to this month? FC has surely been a bit quiet, but I do think most of us are feeling way too bored with this game. Very soon, we'll have a new patch, so we won't be bored for the next little while :3!!

If you haven't seen the trailer for Patch 4.2, here it is!!

For those people that haven't finished the MSQ yet, do so before Jan 29th ᕦ( ᐛ )ᕤ!! Reminder: 

Maintenance will happen from Jan 29th until Jan 30th 2AM for this big patch.

They also did some teaser glamour, but to be honest, I feel like this might be another treasure map item. I like it, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but I don't feel too motivated in getting it. I'm also really digging this new hairstyle, I hope we get it too! But inb4 it clips with our clothes...

Feature	Details
Group Size	This content can be played solo, or in parties up to eight players. Normal monsters will be killable solo. You can enter the area alone and create/join parties once inside.
Magia Board	Players will place magicite into the board to strengthen elemental properties. Players will adjust their offensive and defensive elemental properties to fight against monsters. Source
Elemental Level	A unique leveling system known as the Elemental Level. The experience points earned inside Eureka will be retained even when you leave, and you can continue the next time you enter. If your Elemental Level is higher than 6, there will be a death penalty. (The penalty will not apply if you are raised.) Source
Relic weapons and armor	“The Relic Weapon will be a part of Eureka, and you will only be able to power it up in Eureka” Source. Relic armor has been suggested to involve selecting a piece of existing equipment (based on an appearance you like) to upgrade over time. Source
Notorious Monsters	NMs on 72-hour spawn timers used as an example, but they feel 72-hours is too long Source. Considering pop-item or "entry key" NMs similar to FFXI and FFXIV 1.0 Source
Updates	Planned to be updated along with the relic quests: "This content will be a series, and will be released as we continue through the patches." Source

I cannot tell you HOW EXCITED I AM for this coming week. The game is releasing a new unit and it's one of my favourite characters in the series. They'll be releasing Lyon from FE 8 and I'm really really impatient with this.

Since Lyon is coming out, I'm hoping the new banner that comes before Lyon's event would be characters from the same game. That would be the best week ever（˶′◡‵˶）!!! The very first character they should bring out is L'arachel because she's awesome. PLEAAAASE GIVE ME HER!

Then I would love Tethys to show up cause she's a dancer and I have a soft spot for dancers @___@;

Marisa would be lovely too but we have way too many sword units in the game...but she's so cute!!! And I flipping adore her character design!!!!

But if they need another guy, I'll definitely take Cormag because he is one of the coolest wyvern riders in the series.

Or you know what, can they give me Joshua's mother too? She's really beautiful and I feel like her character design might go to waste :c 

As well there are some new games coming out for PS4! I know Dissidia and Monster Hunter is coming out very soon, but ... as for me, I'm excited for Shadow of Colossus. It's a remake but I have not played the original, so I'm looking forward to it. I have read that the play style is like Legend of Zelda, so that got me really interested ~~

The trailer made the game beautiful and the scenery is just ... wow. LOOK AT THESE GIFS. JUST LOOK AT THEM!!!! Shut up and look.

Ughhhh ಥoಥ I really want to play this game right now!! Game won't be out until Feb 6th, so you can still pre-order it ~~ I'm going to wait until I finish Breath of the Wild before I start on a new game.
