This post is for probably one of the few remaining lalas we have in Ocarina. He is a little ball of sunshine and he is always in a positive mood whenever he logs on. He comes up with interesting nicknames whenever I greet him, and he is probably a saint when it comes to dealing with terrible players in Duty Finder. I would like to dedicate this post for this special lala, Hiro Protagonist, last of the freelance hackers.
I met Hiro through Geir when the two of them wanted to look for an active FC. So I invited these two into my previous FC, but we didn't talk that much since the FC was becoming bigger and bigger. We occasionally partied for EXDR and had some small chats. When I made my own FC, I thought I might not be able to talk to Hiro and Geir anymore. I bumped into Hiro in Limsa and sent him a friend quest, in hopes we get to party with one another some day.
Well, I didn't need to hope for that because eventually, Hiro came over to Ocarina with Geir ~ I must say, we are extremely happy to have Hiro around in the FC, especially when he is drowning during Titan EX!
First of all, I want to appreciate the fact that you're such a fun person to be around when we're doing random dungeons or just simply chatting in the FC chat. You are always positive and when you're drunk in the game, you're such a super star (along with Root) LOL and that's what we love about you.
Despite what SE said about our friendship from our Valentine's Day event, you are the greatest protagonist in Ocarina. You have really helped us a lot when we needed airship materials. I sincerely want to thank you for generously donating tons of cokes, hardened saps, potashes, and other materials. Without your help (as well as other members), I would have spent a lot of gil on the market board.
In addition, I really want to thank you for being part of the Ocarina family ever since I started the FC. Some people come and go and that's natural, but I am very thankful for meeting you in XIV and still having you around! Just looking back at these screenshots and wow, time does fly by really fast.
Another thing I want to comment about is that you learn very quickly when it comes to teaching you new fights. Considering you kept all the DPS people alive when we dragged you to 50 dungeon roulettes and you were our healer! We sometimes make suicidal pulls and you often get heart attacks, but isn't that fun!?
The night I brought you and Geir into T9, I really wished you could be part of the raid team. I really want to thank you for being a great substitute when we need you around, and when you can't make it, you send the message to Geir (and now Geir is part of our raid team). We really love raiding with you because you have such a wonderful raiding attitude and you're a great lala goon!
Which leads us to where we often make fun of you for doing Alex Savage 1 and 2 before you touched any of the Final Coil and previous EX primals. Recently, we got you to finish all of Final Coil, Bismarck EX, and Ravana EX (yay yay congratulations)! Ohs, I cannot forget, we got you through Alex Midas too! You did pick up Alex 1 and 2 savage pretty quickly though, so quite impressed with that!
Speaking of you being a saint in dungeons, you are truly patient. That is something I do admire because you would just go through a terrible dungeon without quitting. You would put up with the players and try to teach them mechanics, even if they fail over and over again. Don't forget you need to add Sas into your marriage, after saving you from an agonizing dungeon run ;D!
And because we love you a lot, we let you watch cutscenes in Midas hehe! Especially Neru, Rare, and Sas, they love your puns (and I know Geir loves your puns, A LOT). How can people hate you for being such a punny little lala?
And of course, I loved watching you chasing that giant Benediction Egg in Gridania. That definitely cracked me up. Ocarina is very happy to have you, Hiro! We love who you are and we love hanging out with you especially when we're doing random trials on the weekend.
I want to show my gratitude and appreciation not just through words, so starting with you, Hiro...I am gifting you a Wind-Up Titan along with this post because I want to make the super star feel very special and loved in Ocarina. You truly deserve the special spotlight and the gift!!
