Hey everyone! There are some exciting news to be shared with you all. Patch 3.1 will be coming very soon and the release date is November 10th!! There's a lot of things to be absorbed, but there's also a lot of things for me to be hyped about :D If you don't want to spoil yourself on 3.1, then I suggest you to avoid this blog post. New Quests
- New Main Story Quest (looking forward to this!!)
- Void Ark -- new 24 man raid like Crystal Tower
- Knights of the Round EX
- Harder than Ravana EX
- Drops "better" weapons (predicting ilvl 200 weps)
- Pharos Sirius HM
- Saint Mocainne's Arboretum
- It gives a new mount and a new minion.
- Paissa Minion:
3.1 Relic Weapons
- Zeta people will have an advantage on the first step
- Those without a Zeta weapon, you don't need a Zeta weapon to start the quest - but you NEED Anima weapon
- Advantages for Zeta is that they are not job specific; for example: If you have WHM Zeta, you can still gain an advantage for your DRK weapon (details are vague)
- Atma drop rates are now 100%, along with dungeon drops for your Zeta upgrade
- Light farming will be easy as they are increased too
Airship Exploratory Missions
- FCs with lvl 50 airships can access Hard Mode
- FC people can invite non-FC people to join the missions
- Ishgard Airships only has Easy and Normal Mode
- Hard Mode is HARD (best description ever...)
- FCs can bring maximum 3 airships (~24 people)
- 2 hour long cooldown, but no weekly lockout on loots
- You may enter as battle class or gathering class
- Once completed the mission, you will get esoterics
- Can drop 210 gears (stats are random) and a minion
- Treasure chests rewards
- Bronze (lowest)
- Silver
- Gold (Highest)
Free Companies and Housings
- New workshop recipes are added
- New furnishings
- Can change FC names
- New items will be obtained via airships

ReplyDeleteI'm pretty excited about the MSQs and hope there will be a decent amount of interesting lore behind the Void Ark and other new dungeons. FC airships pirate times! And Knights of the Round EX looks cool. Also the primal minions look better then the Summoner's egis, lol!
I'm excited for the new story on Void Ark. I wasn't too content with World of Darkness ending, and I do crave some good stories in XIV. There had been some good short stories here, but I mean, I'm done with it already :c We should definitely have some pirate theme party for the airship ;D I THINK THAT WOULD BE AN EXCELLENT IDEA.
