x. Appreciation Post - GRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOT!

Someone in the FC is getting a really special treatment this week! This person is a beautiful Elezen that graciously attracts people with her slutty bikini outfit. She goes around and tells people that she is the Slut of Eorzea and really wants SE to put that in the title option. She was the ex-Rain Icide or we think she killed Rain Icide off. Well anyway, this appreciation post is for our lovely Elezen, Root Groves!

Root is somebody that I'm quite thankful to have in the FC for various reasons. Back then, Root was playing on her glorious PS3, so she was lagging non-stop whenever we were raiding. Sometimes she would disconnect in raids, so we have to patiently wait for her return. We would stay up pretty late at night for random shenanigans.

One of those random things we do at night was worshipping Lady Merlywb at the best church we have in Eorzea. Ritual dances with our appropriate attires were necessary because we wanted to summon her.



I'm not quite sure why there's an empty chair, but okay. I think your interior design for this church was a bit lacking, but I can forgive.

Another thing we did was doing some random dungeon runs...like doing Haukke Manor with four DPS. Were we drinking that night? I honestly don't know. 

I don't remember how we lived in the dungeon with just the four of us. None of us could do big heals really.

Or remember those times where...you would smack the dummy with your rod?

I also can't forget how we pick on Neru on a daily basis. We magically gather a huge crowd as we make Neru sit in front of the old house. Since we attract so much positive attention, we even had our neighbours joining us (and that's how we met Bloodfiend).

You also have a great sense of humour whether you were intoxicated or not. You can be the residential FC drunk if you would like, but honestly, I don't think anyone can beat you in being the best slut of NA. You're just talented in that field.

Eventually, we became amazing dancers and we were busting our moves in North Thanalan as we wait for the Final Coil queue.

As well, I enjoy running Crystal Towers with you as well. I normally would just be a goodie goodie and not cause trouble, but ever since I've been partying with you, you brought the inner-demon out of me.

Yeah okay, we can be dicky but it's funnnyyyy.

We occasionally farm some damn ponies and cry to each other when we lost our favourite pony. RNGesus is definitely not kind to us.

You also light up the party in the FC. I mean who wouldn't enjoy reading things like:

Oh I cannot forget how we complain about our random pugs when we go through EXDR. They were really painful but it was so amusing at the same time. I'm pretty sure our other members enjoyed reading our rant HAHAHA.

You also come up with amazing ideas. I mean cosplaying theme for the wedding?? I cannot MISS it. It was seriously brilliant and it was the best wedding I went to.

But I really want to say that you had been a huge help in Ocarina. I am quite thankful that you had helped me gathered some clusters so I don't have to spend a lot of time gathering and restocking the chest. You helped the FC by leveling the members' chocobos on a regular basis. You try to help other people when they need to run a dungeon or raid.

When you had your awful PS3, you tried your best in Final Coils. There wasn't much you could do but you still came and joined us, despite your awful lag. I am quite happy that you could come raid with us and we were the best DPS duo ever #TeamDolceRain. We defeated the Bennu's together, we did the earth shakers together, we did the tethers together, and staring at Neru when he misses your prey in T10.

I also really appreciate that you do your homework before the raid. I have heard a lot of horrible stories from other statics where the group spends 30 minutes explaining the fight when they're inside coil. Honestly, thanks for being such a great team player. I knew I could rely on you when I sing my Foes for you :D

Ocarina is very happy to have an amazing BLM like you, Root! We're really grateful and I'm really lucky to have you not just in the FC, but throughout my coil experience. You're another member I sincerely want to appreciate because we have officially caught up to the end-game contents of XIV!

x. Final Coil hates BRD

Hello fuzzy Cuccos! It's been getting pretty warm and sunny in where I live. I hope it's the same for you all! There is a recent update in XIV, so go read it up if you have time and here is the link. Anyway, let's recap on some eventful events that has been happening in the FC!

Recently, the FC had a treasure hunt as a group and we had a stack of maps. My mogmail box was getting full and besides, I wanted to see who would get the next blue bird! Here are some snapshots of our treasure hunting adventure <3

Sas opened up his map and most of us were confused with his lvl 38 monsters...it turns out this map WAS FROM THE LADY EVENT! WTF.

After our treasure map time, we decided to drag Ubi into T9 LOL. I won't share all the juicy details and I'll let those party people remember the night.

I mean the picture is self explanatory ... LOL!

Dolce: Hey Ubi. Come over here.

Ubi: Why?

Dolce: Come over here for a group photo.

Ubi: NO! THIS DOES NOT COUNT. NO. I NEED A REDO. NO.

Dolce: Cmon Ubi! Over here!!

Ubi: NO!!

...then to make Ubi happier, we did some primals. Well, I don't think Ifrit EX made Ubi happier since he needed the primal  and he walked into this fight blindly :D it's okay Ubi, you actually did great in Ifrit EX!!

We also did some Titan EX runs. Ubi DC'd and his character was standing in the air HAHA.

We also went for Garuda EX and we tried burning her after she did Aerial Blast. We did it but it was hard *__*

Ohs yeah, we did some Odin too! I did not get a card drop though :'c

but in return, one of our Titan EX runs dropped an oogly pony.

Speaking of Ubi, Ubi and I did an amazing WoD run. It took us about 80 minutes to finish the entire run because it was just horrible and awful. I was pulling aggro (as always) and our tank didn't do shit. Ubi was great in alliance chat too ... LOL Here are some snapshots of Ubi in WoD.

We wiped on Atomos 3 times because that's how we rock.....

We wiped on Cloud for the next 3-4 times. There was one run where we had people dropping and some dumbass decided to pull Cloud. Cloud was then one-shotting people and Ubi kept getting particle beam. Ubi tried to kill me off by running those beams to me...BUT IT DIDN'T WORK.

Helped Mar, Lunaria, and Greyson with some leveling since Lunaria and Greyson needed Blood for Blood! They did get quite a bit of leveling done in one night <3

The group did some more T13 runs and we're getting better and more consistent. Honestly, we got endless PLD swords, DRG spears, healer robes, and one lovely NIN dag. Where are the BRD loots??
