I am quite late on this because:
1) I wanted to collect more screenies
2) I failed again but I can't postpone this post any longer..
3) I failed because I lost some of the screenshots in dropbox
ANYWAYS.
There is something I haven't been doing ever since I was re-organizing things in the FC. Though now the FC has been going pretty steadily, I am coming back to appreciation posts. I would love to start my very first appreciation post to a special Ocarina member:
Alal-chan (Alalgudo Lalagudo)!!
Alal, when we first met, you were probably one of the nicest people I had ever talked to (especially back in our old FC). I always looked forward to see you when I get on, and we ran quite a bit of dungeons together every single day. You have a super positive attitude and you are always so cheery around others. You are not simply an upbeat person, but you're a person I can rely on.
Even during our times with our old FC, I know I could count on you to attend to my FC events. Often I worry there may not be enough people, but you are always there participating and encouraging/reminding others to come. It takes a lot of weight off my shoulders because I know I have another person I could rely on.
You also listen patiently and offer insightful suggestions when I was going through some hard times with our last FC. You also check on me from time to time and it makes me feel quite happy that I have a friend that cares for my well-being.
You would sacrifice some of your sleeping time just to attend to special events. I am very grateful to have a friend that would go out of their way to attend to my wedding, I really do appreciate that!
Aside from being a reliable person, you are a great team mate. We ran though a lot of coils and other primals EX, trying to progress towards end-game contents and helping others to catch up to us. We also faced a lot of tensions about party set-ups, but that didn't stop us from catching up to end-game contents.
We worked incredibly hard in Second Coil and with our conflicting schedules...
our best achievement was our very first T7 kill.
Alal, you're a great member of Ocarina and I hope you know that! Despite our play times/time zones being different, we all cherish you as a friend. Since I don't have an updated picture of your cat, I will post up a really cute picture of Maru the cat:
Aww, the feels! Thanks for the appreciation post--I'm glad to see them coming back, I really enjoyed them on our old FC's blog. And seeing all these old pics is really nostalgic. Too bad we don't have one from Titan EX (such a challenge last summer with our old gears and my ps3). I miss getting to run dungeons and raid like we used to, but I still have a lot of fun when we do!
ReplyDeleteYou deserve it and yes, appreciation posts are back!! I think when you still had your PS3, I was still using my shitty computer (that loads mor dhona in 2 minutes and it takes me 1+ minute to see that you guys had said "Hello" to me in FC chat cause I'm still logging in).
